Ravi Kishan, Mukesh Tiwari, Shubhangi Atre, Vidisha Srivastava, Aasif Sheikh, Rohitashv Gour, Brijendra Kala along with director Shashank Bali, producers Sanjay Kohli, Umesh Kumar Bansal and Ruchir Tiwari and many others attended the launch of the trailer of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain – Fun On The Run. Ravi Kishan and Aasif Sheikh talked about reuniting after 25 years. They last worked together in the Shah Rukh Khan-Sridevi starrer, Army (1996).

Aasif Sheikh shared a shocking incident from the sets of the film, “It was our first day at a new location. Ravi and I sat together next to each other, sipping coffee. There was some distance between us. Believe it or not, a tree, which was 12-13 feet long, fell between us. If one of us had come in the place of the falling tree, hamari chutney ban jaati. We were stunned. Hence, it was like an adventurous reunion (laughs).”
Ravi Kishan added, “The tree must have weighed 500 kilos. It fell in between us. However, it bruised my shoulder. It created a ‘boom’ sound.”
Producer Sanjay Kohli revealed, “For a good 30 minutes, we were all speechless. Ravi got hurt on his shoulder. He went (to get treatment), but within 30 minutes, the man was back on the sets. He told us, ‘Chalo, karte hai shooting’.”
He continued, “Coincidentally, a friend of mine was sitting in front of Ravi ji. He saw the tree falling and he pushed Ravi a bit. If he had not done that, his shoulder would have been crushed 110%. That tree was so heavy.”
Aasif Sheikh remarked, “Thank God we were saved. Or else, today, one of us would not have been around at the trailer launch.”
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain – Fun On The Run releases in cinemas on February 6.
