Aryna Sabalenka is flying high at the Brisbane International once again, having won the tournament in 2025.
Sabalenka won four titles on the WTA Tour last season, beginning with success at the start of the year in Brisbane.
And she is now on track to defend her Brisbane International title, having stormed into the quarterfinals, where she will meet Madison Keys.
WTA Tour number one Sabalenka beat Cristina Bucsa in just 47 minutes, before knocking out Sorana Cirstea in the round of 16.

Aryna Sabalenka wants to bring back iconic peach tennis kit
Sabalenka is now building fine momentum towards the Australian Open, for which she has just revealed her playing kit.
She was asked on court after her latest win for her favorite aspect of the kit, and indeed what look from tennis history would she like to bring back.
Sabalenka replied: “There was one, I don’t remember if it was Serena’s [Williams] collection? I think it was Serena’s collection, or Maria [Sharapova].
“It was like a light peach dress. You remember? That was my favorite one. I would love to bring that back.
“And I remember talking to Nike and telling them that I want to bring those colors back, please, just do something for me in those colors.
“I love it, and it fits Australia perfectly. And they did it, and now it’s my favorite dress.”

Aryna Sabalenka and Naomi Osaka follow Serena Williams’ and Maria Sharapova’s fashion footsteps
Many tennis fans were quick to try and confirm which of the two legends Sabalenka was referring to, creating a debate on social media.
There have even been suggestions that her Australian Open outfit is a combination of those previously worn by Williams and Sharapova.

Regardless, the Belarusian star has helped bring some iconic kits to life throughout her career, but she isn’t the only one.
Her fellow WTA star Coco Gauff has done the same, although perhaps they both fall short of Naomi Osaka.
Of course, iconic outfits haven’t been limited to women’s tennis, with Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner both often turning up to the court in iconic fashion.
