The film has been generating significant buzz ever since its announcement, particularly for its ambitious scale and ensemble cast.

Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is an upcoming Indian period gangster action thriller featuring a star-studded lineup that includes Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. The film is jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under their respective banners, KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. Cinematography for the project is handled by Rajeev Ravi, while the music is composed by Ravi Basrur, adding further weight to the film’s technical prowess.

The film has been simultaneously shot in Kannada and English, underlining its global ambition, and is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the festival of Ugadi.

On the professional front, Rukmini Vasanth enjoyed a strong 2025 with notable projects such as Madharaasi, Ace, and Kantara: Chapter 1. She now carries that momentum into 2026 with Toxic already creating strong anticipation, along with another major venture, NTRNeel, which ranks among the most awaited films of the year.
